Kristen Mander

Kristen Mander joined Happy Homes in February 2023 and serves as Chief Operating Officer. Bringing a strong foundation in property management, operations, and customer experience, Kristen plays a key role in driving company growth, scaling organizational efficiency, and supporting the long-term success of both clients and internal teams.

Prior to joining Happy Homes, Kristen built an impressive career in multifamily property management with one of the largest apartment management companies in the United States. During her tenure, she helped oversee the leasing and management of more than 1,000 apartment homes while developing deep expertise in sales, resident relations, and team leadership. Her ability to quickly adapt, build meaningful relationships, and consistently exceed goals earned her the prestigious Leasing Consultant of the Year award for Washington State in 2020.

As COO, Kristen combines her passion for people with a results-driven approach to leadership. She is committed to creating exceptional experiences for residents, owners, and investors alike, helping position Happy Homes for continued innovation.

A proud Carolina girl, Kristen was born in Myrtle Beach and has lived throughout both North and South Carolina. She graduated from The College of Charleston in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After living in several locations across the country alongside her husband (a Charleston native, Citadel graduate, and Army officer), they ultimately returned to their favorite city of Charleston. Outside of work, Kristen enjoys spending time with her two children, Nora and Hudson, and her beloved Bernedoodle, Josie.
